Ordering
What time do I need to order by?
Order by 11:00 PM for delivery the next morning between 7–9 AM. Anything placed after the cut-off automatically moves to the following morning. We hold the cut-off firm because we buy at the mandi at 4 AM against confirmed orders only — that is what keeps wastage, and therefore prices, low.
Do I need to download the Rozbasket app?
No — there is no Rozbasket app to download. Rozbasket runs entirely on WhatsApp — scan the QR code at your society gate, or tap any "Order on WhatsApp" button on this site, and you're ordering in one message. You can send a list, a voice note, or just say "same as last Sunday." There is no app to install, no account to create and no password to remember.
Can I order in Hindi or Telugu?
Yes — you can order in Hindi, Telugu or English, typed or as a voice note, and mix them freely in one message. A message like "kal subah 2 litre doodh, 12 ande aur thoda taaza tomato bhej dena" or "రేపు ఉదయం పాలు, గుడ్లు పంపండి" is understood correctly, priced, and sent back to you as a confirmation you approve before anything is charged. Our delivery staff and account managers speak all three.
Is there a minimum order value?
There is no minimum order value and no delivery fee on Rozbasket. A single litre of milk is a valid order. Batch delivery means one extra small order on an existing route costs us almost nothing, so charging you a delivery fee for it would be dishonest.
Where exactly is my order delivered?
Your order is delivered to a single agreed drop point at your society — usually the gate, clubhouse or lobby — between 7–9 AM. Orders arrive sorted by block and flat number in labelled reusable baskets, so collection takes seconds. Societies that prefer door delivery can opt in, and we do that where the community's rules allow it.
What happens to the baskets — is there plastic waste?
Orders travel in branded reusable baskets that we collect on the next morning's run, so there is no per-order plastic bag. Anything left unsold is either returned to the supplier under our buy-back arrangement or routed to a local partner rather than thrown away. Reducing wastage isn't a sustainability slogan for us — unsold perishables are our single largest avoidable cost.
How do I pay?
You pay by UPI on a payment link sent in the WhatsApp chat once you confirm your order. There's no card to store and no wallet to top up. Business accounts can be set up on weekly or fortnightly invoicing instead.
Can I set up a repeating order?
Yes — any order can be repeated on a schedule you choose, such as every Monday and Thursday. We send you a one-tap confirmation the evening before each scheduled delivery, so nothing is ever charged without you approving it, and you can skip, pause or edit a basket from the same chat.
Delivery
What is Rozbasket?
Rozbasket is a next-morning grocery delivery service for gated communities and businesses in Hyderabad that buys its produce fresh each dawn against orders already confirmed. You send your list the night before, we buy it at the mandi at 4 AM, and it reaches your society gate between 7–9 AM — roughly 3 hours from crate to gate, with nothing held in a warehouse in between. Because a whole society's orders are packed and delivered as one batch, the delivery cost per order is a fraction of what 10-minute delivery costs, and that saving goes into the price you pay.
What does Rozbasket mean?
“Roz” means “every day” — रोज़ in Hindi, రోజు (roju) in Telugu. Paired with taaza (ताज़ा / తాజా), fresh in both, it is the promise in two words: fresh, every day. The name works in both of Hyderabad's main languages on purpose — it says the same thing to a Hindi-speaking household and a Telugu-speaking one, with nothing to translate. It is written as one word, Rozbasket, and operated by Rozbasket Commerce Pvt. Ltd..
How is Rozbasket different from Blinkit, Zepto or Instamart?
The difference is where the food waits: quick commerce stores it, Rozbasket does not. A ten-minute promise requires a dark store near you already holding produce bought against a forecast, which typically sits on that shelf for one to three days before somebody orders it. We buy nothing until your order is confirmed, so your vegetables are chosen at the mandi that same morning and reach you about 3 hours later. If you need something urgently right now, use quick commerce — that is what it is genuinely good at. If you know tonight what you need tomorrow, we are fresher and cheaper.
How do you deliver cheaper than quick commerce?
We exploit density instead of speed. A quick-commerce order is one rider, one trip, one customer; our morning route is one vehicle serving an entire society, where 80 orders share a single trip to a single gate. That collapses the delivery cost per order, and knowing every order the night before means we buy exactly what was sold — so we carry almost no wastage on perishables. Those two savings are the entire pricing advantage.
Where do you deliver in Hyderabad?
Rozbasket currently runs morning routes across West Hyderabad — Gachibowli, Madhapur, Kondapur, Hitec City, Kokapet, Narsingi, Manikonda, Nallagandla, Miyapur, Bachupally, Nizampet and Kukatpally — with Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills served for business customers. Other localities are on a waitlist and open once enough households in a single society sign up.
How do I get delivery started in my society?
Send us your society name and locality on WhatsApp, and we'll open a waitlist link for your community. Once around 25 households in the same society register interest, we add that gate to a morning route — usually within two weeks. Residents who help set it up get their first month at zero margin.
What if something is missing, damaged or not fresh?
Send a photo on WhatsApp and we refund or replace it on the next morning's delivery, no questions asked. Because we deliver to the same societies every single day, replacing an item costs us almost nothing — which is why we can afford a no-argument policy.
Pricing
Can you hold prices steady for a restaurant?
Yes — business accounts can lock weekly pricing on core vegetables and staples instead of paying the daily mandi rate. Because we forecast demand across every society and business we serve, we buy at volume and can absorb short-term price swings that would otherwise land on your food cost.
What products do you stock?
Rozbasket stocks around 55 everyday essentials across dairy, breakfast, vegetables, fruits, staples and household supplies. That is a deliberate choice, not a limitation — a short, fast-moving list is what lets us buy fresh every morning, price sharply and carry almost no dead stock. Business customers can request items outside the standard list.
Business
Do you supply restaurants, hotels and cafés?
Yes. Rozbasket supplies hotels, restaurants, cafés, cloud kitchens, tiffin centres, offices and hostels across Hyderabad on daily standing orders. Business accounts get graded produce, fixed weekly pricing that protects you from mandi swings, a named account manager and consolidated invoicing with GST.
What quality grading do business customers get?
Business orders are graded before dispatch, and you specify the grade you want per item. Grade A goes to customers who need presentation quality, Grade B is priced lower for kitchens where produce is chopped or cooked down anyway, and anything below that never leaves our hub. You are charged for the grade you ordered.
More
How fresh are the vegetables and fruit?
Your produce is bought the same morning it reaches you, usually about 3 hours before it arrives at your gate. We are at the Hyderabad mandi from 4 AM buying against orders that closed at 11:00 PM the previous night, so we purchase only what is already sold and store nothing. There is no warehouse and no dark store in the chain — the crate goes from the mandi to the sorting hub to your society drop point the same morning. If anything arrives below standard, send a photo on WhatsApp and it is refunded or replaced on the next morning's delivery.
Order tonight. Fresh at your gate by 7 AM.
